Under GA law, since you are over age 14, you have the right to express your preference. However, the judge is not bound by your selection, if, e.g., he/she feels that living with your father is not in your best interest. You should consult with a local attorney. Call around; many attorneys don't charge for initial consultations.

If you can, you should talk to your father about your preference. His attorney can ask the Court to appoint a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL for short) for you who will become another lawyer in the case. You can talk to your GAL about your preference and he or she can give you advice and discuss the case with you. Your GAL will also be able to represent your best interests in the case. The GAL cannot make the decision for you but can be a voice for you in the case.
