Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I am a Father of a now 4 year old daughter, Her mother and I split because I refused to continue paying her bills while she let another man live in our household,so because of this she took my daughter from me. I have been fighting in court since she took my daughter and I feel that the judge is being bias against fathers. I signed the Paternity Acknowledgment form which legalized me as my daughter's father also according to the Parentage Act being that my daughter live in my household for a set amount of time she is recognized understate laws as my own child. Even though these laws are set in place to protect my rights as a father, Whenever we go to court the judge always rules in the mothers favor and refuses to let me see my daughter. He had another case in his court room where a father wanted to challenge his Paternity, this father also signed the Paternity Acknowledgment form, He ruled against this father and increased his child support although the father had proof that he was not the child's father. What can I do to challenge this judge? He is on the bench doing whatever he wants and refuses to rule by the laws. The whole courthouse knows about my case but everyone refuses to help. I tried talking to my Congressmen and Senators but all say that the courts are the only ones that can handle this situation. Please tell me which route to go to have this judge investigated. Also this case is the Rome, GA Superior Court system if this helps any
Thank You

Discuss your case with your lawyer. If you have made the choice to proceed without one, it probably explains why the case is not going well for you. As an aside, allegations like yours are common when people lost a case or an issue in court. These allegations (and Congressmen, etc.) are not a replacement for competent legal counsel.
It sounds like you are trying to handle this yourself, which is a mistake. Consult with a local attorney.
