Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My Fiance had her children temporarily taken away from her by the state (for drug use and other things) 2 were given to one of her sisters and 1 to her other sister it was only supposed to have been for 2 years max she completed everything as required and turned her life around now she has the 2 children from the one sister but the other sister threatened her that if she tried to get the other back she would take her rights away and never let her see her again so she didnt do anything it has been almost 5 years now and she wants her daughter back it hurts her because the one daughter knows the others are her sisters but not that she is her mother what can be done over this can she still get her back if so what steps need to be taken the sister is supposed to be filing for adoption when taxes arrive

Since you have posted the facts inaccurately, no response is possible.

An adoption can only be filed if either your fiance signed a surrender for adoption or unless her rights were permanently terminated.

I'd suggest two things: (1) your fiance needs to see a lawyer and (2) you may want to repost and not leave out what has happened so you can get an accurate answer about adoption.
