My fiance's kids mother was deported, and I want to formally adopt them when we get married. What is the correct process for this?

First you have to actually be married. At that time, depending on whether he was ever married to the mother, obtained legal custody or legitimated the child, and whether the mother pays support, you may be able to file a stepparent adoption.
