A FIFA is a Writ of Fieri Facias. It is entered on the general execution docket of the county where the judgment was entered. It acts as a lien against all real property owned by the debtor in the county where it is filed. It is also used by the Sheriff to levy or sieze the personal property of the debtor. It is good for seven years and can renewed for an additional 7 years.
