how do i file child abandonment

I have been taking care of my daughter with no help from the mother..who at 1st left the state with my child and didnt tell me..i went ant got my child in november and she been living with me since then the mother claimed her on her taxes and still hasn't sent no type of money and rarely ever calls..also her 7 year old daughter stays with the aunt cause she doesnt do right by her either i do more for her than the mother does.....i dont want my child in full custody o f the mother because she has all types of dudes around my child doesn't bath her regularly and doesnt teach her anything..my money is tight right now cause doing everything myself but need to know how to go about filing child abandonment heard thats the best thing for me to do

Your post lacks most of the information needed to answer you.

If you were or are married to the mother the answer will depend on what, if amy, court orders exist.

If you were not married to the mother you would have no custody rights until and unless you filed to legitimate the child (and you could then seek support).

Either way you need an attorney. From what you posted, abandonment is probably the one thing you can't do at this time, unless you left out some important facts.
