Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I want to file for an uncontested dicorce in GA, but I will be out of the country until december for work, and then I will only be in the state for two weeks. Would it be possible to have the forms notarized in texas, and file by mail?

What you need to do is to get a lawyer. While papers can be mailed to a court, many courts require pro se litigants to appear in court, and lots tends to go wrong with pro se cases.

A lawyer can file for you, send you needed paperwork back and forth and is more likely to get your court date waived.

Call me tomorrow (404-768-3509) if you are in a county I service (I handle about 25 counties). You'd be surprised how little many uncontested cases cost.
