Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I'm filing for a no-fault divorce and wanted to know if we will still be required to submit formal paperwork of financial forms concerning child support or could we simply sumbit a statement that specifies an amount agreed upon by both myself and husband for monthly child support payments?

You have to file whatever your local court requires. Check with the clerk of court.

Mr. Fields is incorrect. All counties require financial affidavits and the state support spreadsheet. Many add additional forms.

A divorce with a child is not a do it yourself project especially if you want to deviate from state guidelines. You need counsel.
