Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Financial information

My wife is attempting to get child support from her ex husband who currently pays none. The defendant is now subpoening me to submit all my financial info -obviously to try and show she does not need it- however i have a pre nup that basically says she has no right to my money or my business. can i use this pre-nup to not have to show every bit of financial info on me and my co.?

Re: Financial information

If you have been served with a subpoena from a court, you need a lawyer well in advance of the production date, and not a general information website. You may also want to confer with your wife's lawyer. As for the pre-nup, the ex likely is seeking current household information, not what may happen should you and your wife divorce. Your lawyer (one who handles such matters regularly, not just one who solicits your case) will review the document, subpoena, etc., and advise you.
