Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Should I find me a lawyer?

Moved to Georgia in 1998 and lived with a man and his mother and father. While living with him he ordered things in my name and wouldnt pay for them. Finally, I had enough and moved. Still ordering things in my name. Had furniture in my name under a loan he sold it I still had to pay for it. When I moved, agreement was that I would be back for my furniture. Now, after 3 years he decides to email me and tell me he is sueing me for things that I took during my move that was of great importance to him and his mother which were dishes, pots and pans and nic nacks. Can he do this after 3 years of not even seeing or hearing from them?

What are my options? Also, threatened to have his mother come to the place of my employment and give me a piece of her mind. Please tell me what I can do?

Re: Should I find me a lawyer?

1. Call the police if he breaks any laws. 2. Consult with a local attorney about the liability issues. You need to sit down and consult with an attorney about the details.
