A friend of mine wants to testify to support my allegation of my ex wife's infidelity in court. He wants to send a statement and what is the best and legal way to do it?

The statement, even if notarized, will be of no use to you. Either your friend has to appear in court or give a deposition. If you have an attorney, he/she can explain how a deposition works.

You can't send statements to court. Statements cannot be crossexamined. If you need your friend's testimony your friend needs to be in Court.

(In some cases, such as if a witness is dying, a person's testimony might be preserved by deposition, and both parties would have to be noticed and present.)
