At age 18, the child is an adult. You cannot throw the child out before he or she is 18 unless the child is emancipated. You all need some family therapy if you are seeking to throw your child out of the house. There has got to be many issues. Is it possible that the child could stay voluntarily with a friend? Grandparents? In that case, you would have to work something out with the child and his custodian.
