do georgia allow alimony? I 'm currently separated and my husband wants adivorce . I do not work and received ssdi for income. would that hurt me from receiving alimony?

Alimony is rare in Georgia but it does happen. You are almost 100% certain not get alimony without a lawyer. Alimony can be temporary or long term, and is based on many things including income, needs of the parties, length of the marriage, etc. Again, get a lawyer ASAP.
