Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Georgia child supporgt

Receiving child support for 2 children. I do not work-homeschool children. Oldest is 14 wants to live with father. Is the child support considered even and 0 amount will be paid, due to each of us having 1 child,or do I continue to get 1/2 of child support for child remaining with me and will continue to be homeschooled?

If you are changing the custody or support decreed by the court, then you will need to seek a modification of the final decree. You should consult with an attorney to achieve this.

Assuming the father works, there likely still would be support. The answer will in part depend on the judge as well as whether you reach an agreement.
