Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I'm from Georgia and I'm a non-custodial parent. My ex-wife "claims" to be homeschooling my children. I've asked repeatedly to see the paperwork proving that they're registered with a school approved by the state of Georgia. I'm constantly getting the run around. I stated that I'm going to call the county DFCS office in city where she's located and let them handle it. She claims that she's going to have her attorney file charges based on harassment if I do so.
Is it not my right as a father to ensure she is properly educating my children? Is this harassment? I need to know if I'm in the wrong.
I'm hoping that child services can sort it out and determine whether or not she's actually homeschooling them like she "claims" to be.

Before you create a pro se legal mess, go see YOUR lawyer. What you can and cannot request is dictated not by your desires, but by what your parenting plan from your custody case says you can request.
