You have to help yourself. First of all, have you been sending child support equal to the state guidelines. If not, you're a criminal and can be arrested, even if there is no support order. Second, you have to hire a lawyer. Until you file to legitimize your child, you do not have an ability to seek visitation or custody. So start sending checks, and see a lawyer Monday.

You need to file a Petition to Legitimate. Right now you have no legal right to visitation, but you do have a legal obligation to support your daughter. Whether or not you signed the birth certificate is inconsequential. You need to start providing some support. I suggest payment by a money order marked child support. Make sure you have a copy of the money order evidencing the mother's name is on it. I suggest you speak with an attorney.
