Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
She says she wont give me a divorce
I have been married for 6 years, unhappily for 5 1/2. I have asked for a divorce for the last 4 years but she says she will never divorce me. We have no shared assets, no shared debts, no children.
my wife has a daughter who is 9 who lives her mother, from a previous relationship. She see's her daughter by her choice 2 or so times a month.
I have not adopted this child.
my wife is on probation for forging perscriptions for a class 3 drug.
She is currently living in an extended stay hotel, even though here mother has asked her to come back.
I finally moved out and back to nyc. she is in atlanta ga.
She is adamant about NEVER divorcing me.
How do I get a divorce.
and can I do it without going back to atlanta.

You may still be able to get a divorce in NY. Please post the answers to the questions above for a more definitive answer, or call my office.

You hire a lawyer (and you probably do have to travel to Atlanta although that depends on things not in your post).

There are circumstances under which the previous poster's answer could be incorrect. Depending upon the specifics of your situation, it might be possible to obtain a divorce in New York - although it might be easier in Georgia.
