Giving up patental rights

If you give up your partenal rights, do you still have to pay child support?

Yes, you do, unless a court order is entered which takes away your child support obligation. If this is in conjunction with, e.g., an adoption, it is fairly easy to accomplish. You should consult with a local attorney.
