Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Grandchildren custody

I curently have permanent custody of y two grandchildren granted by the superior court judge. Their parents have petitioned the court to over turn the order. My attorney has recommended that we go for ''Permanent Child Custody'' . He explains to me that this could never be overturned. Is that correct?

Re: Grandchildren custody

You have me confused. You say you already have permanent custody but your lawyer wants you to "go for Permanent Child Custody". That would be a meaningless duplication. I think there is a miscommunication between you and your lawyer. You should ask him/her to spend a few minutes with you to carefully explain the entire situation.
