Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My Grandchildren get money from shares (Alaska oil ) from a co-op that their Great Grandmother (fathers side) put in their names. The children get two payments a year in their names (each) typically $ 2000 - 3000 a year. I told my son in law he should be putting the money into a trust or savings account for the kids and I thought the Jackie Coogan law my be valid. Is there a law protecting the children's money ?

Why would you be talking to him about a California inly law for child actors? Nope that's not the answer. He should see a lawyer to make sure he has done proper estate planning.
