Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have a granddaughter. I am the maternal Grandmother. She was placed with the other grandmother. The other Grandmother will not let me see her. I have a lawyer and I have won rights to see my Granddaughter, although the other Grandmother is fighting me all the way. She has went as far as to turn my 6 year old granddaughter against me. It has been proved in court that I did have a relationship with her. But almost 2 years have been stolen from me. I will probably never get to see my Granddaughter and have a relationship with her as I did in the past.

Now my Question. Is there a law or can I sue someone for stealing my Granddaughter's love from me.

Stealing my life with her in it. Turning her against me?

Please answer my question.

You said in your question that you won rights to see your granddaughter. So, exercise those rights. If the other grandmother refuses in violation of a court order, file a motion for contempt. However, at 6 years old, the relationship is not irreparable if you exercise the rights the court has given you.

Your lawyer is the proper person to ask. He/she knows more about your case than we on this forum will ever know.
