My grandmother recently passed and her care giver took all of my grandmothers belongings, She did have power of Attorney over her health care, which was taken away from her and given to me. but she took advantage of my grand mother and has manipulted her into abondoning her family because of what The so called care giver has told her. There was a will but nothing has been put into probate. she says she was given eveything. What can I do ? Ilived with my grandmother when she was taken to the hospital and was told to leave or she wouldn\'t be coming home.

You must remember that a power of attorney expires upon the death of the person granting it.
Your first order of business is to consult with a local attorney. If you would like to discuss, feel free to give me a call. It appears that the caregiver may have taken unfair advantage of your grandmother. If that is the case, she can be held responsible.
I concur. You should contact an attorney with experience in probate / estate planning matters.
