Grandparent Laws??

I would just like to know if there are any grandparent laws in Ga. and if so what they are or where I can find them. the parents were married and have one child,4yrs. old.

I assume you are asking if you have any rights to custody or visitation based on your status as a grandparent. As a grandparent myself I was involved in a custody dispute, we eventually got custody. You have visitation rights and might have custody rights, all depending on the situation. Since each situation is different it must be analyzed carefully. These must be obtained through a civil court so you can't just show up for visitation. The laws are not all in one place, there are case laws and statutory laws. To see the Georgia Code go to your county law library and review Title 19.
