Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

i have a one and a half year old daughter with a woman i am nolonger with. we were never married. she has no job , education, transportation,etc. she is possibly leaving this state to be with a convict recently released from prison for attempted murder. do i have rights to my child. can she take her anytime she pleases. please help.
