Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

house

My ex-finance rought a house in Atlanta...his name is on the loan..both of our name is on the deed/house...I am in Miami...He relocated to Atlanta...He decided to break off the engagment because his family think I am not the one for him...I would like my money back and whatever equity that is i the hous...he is also aking for the engagement ring back...hurt ,confused and angry...Thanks for your help Donna

You are probably entitled to a share of the equity in the house, but maybe not the ring, since engagement rings are usually viewed as contingent on the marriage taking place.You should set up a conference with an attorney in the Atlant area, since that is where the house is located.
