Go to the Courthouse and obtain a marriage license. The marriage license will be filed in the official records of Georgia and will serve as notice to everyone that you are your significant other are officially married.

Here's a good web page that you can read for more specific information and commonly asked questions (such as "how much does a marriage license cost" and "where do I go get one?").

Georgia recornizes common law marriages entered into before Jan 1, 1997. If you are already married, contrary to what Phillip says, you CANNOT get married again. However, you could have a lawyer draw up an affidavit. Call me for details.
