Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband is enlisted in the army he has faught over in Iraq, he was suppose to do a another tour in Iraq and went awal, desertion right before deploy. He has left me and does not help with anything, we have 3 children together. Is there anything the army can do to help me out?
