Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband may have fathered a child over 28 years ago and she is now asking for a DNA test. We tried to have a DNA test taken several times in the past, when she was an infant and even after she turned 18. There was always some objection from the mother and/or child. Is there any way he could be sued for back child support?
