Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

my husband had full court ordered custody of his 13 yr old son and the son started acting out and wanted to stay with his mother. my husband wrote an agreement out stating the son could stay with the mother with a min. of 1 yr or for as long as the child needed. the agreement did not get notarized only signed by both parents. the child wants to come back to his father and the mother refuses to let him. with the agreement not being notarized is it legal and does the father still have full custody over his son?

The agreement is worthless (and whether it was notarized is irrelevant). Neither party can agree to violate a court order. If she refuses to return the child, she can be either cited for contempt (get a lawyer for this) or jailed for interference with custody.
