Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband has a grandson he does not get to see. I know through research grandparents can seek visitation through the court however he son refuses to ligitimate the child. My husbands question is can he do a paternity test as the grandfather for ligitimation purposes?

I don't believe legitimation of the child has anything to do with it. Consult with a local attorney to see how your local judges are handling this issue.
