Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My husband and I have not had intimate relations for almost a year. I want a divorce, not because of this, but because I'm no longer happy in the marriage. Are we considered separated in Georgia since we haven't had marital relations?

The lack of sexual relations means you are in a "bona fide separation" which is required to file for divorce. It doesn't have much other legal significance. Feel free to call me at 404-768-3509 with any questions;.
