husband in jail

seperated from husband for 6 months.He would not divorce me, so I asked for childsupport. He said he did not have to.He just went to jail for violation of probation,should get 2years. What do I do to get child support? We have 1 child together shes 9 months old.Our aggrement was 120.00 a week. I'm trying to get help from wellfair.

You can file for either divorce or what's called "separate maintenance". You should at least consult with a local attorney before undertaking either of these on your own.
