about my husband lawyer
On nov,9 of 2006 the jugde awarded me 1,000 for alimony for the rest of my life.and nothing has been sign yet because my husband lawyer keep making the mistake on the paper work I've been married 18 years and on the paper keeps that we been married 8 years.and that i waive all of his retirement army pay which i did not because I am entitled for. And his to child support.So my question is his trying to prolong it please give me a answer

No one here who did not repersent you in your case will be able to answer you as we have not seen the pleadings. These are all questions that your lawyer should be answering for you. Ask him or her.

Your description of the details do leave some unanswered questions; however, you are very fortunate if you have not signed a consent agreement yet. It would be wise to employ an attorney to review any agreement prior to your signing it, or prior to its presentation as a decree for the judge to sign. If you are not represented, it provides an opportunity for the agreement/decree to be worded in a manner that can disadvantage you and make any appeal expensive, difficult and possibly next to impossible.
