Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Husband left my home with our 2 year old when I told him I wanted a divorce. He refuses to bring him back home and will not tell me where he is currently residing. I think he is back with his girlfriend but I am not 100% sure. I've contacted his family and friends with no success as to his whereabouts. He is threatening to leave for Texas as he will text me all day but will not talk to me. I need to stop him from taking our other children out of school and skipping town as well as file for divorce but I don't think divorce by publication will work since we have minor children. What can I do considering I don't have an attorney?

If your children are important to you, you cannot afford not to have a lawyer. The two things you can do to most hurt your case are to respond to his texts and to not get counsel. You have rights in a case that you likely will not properly assert without counsel. You needed counsel when you first talked to your husband, and hiring counsel now is lonmg overdue. Do it today. Good luck.
