Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My husband and I aren't getting along and are going to get a legal seperation. We have a 12 year old daughter with special needs that we need to care for together due to us both being disabled. Can we live in the same household even though not the same room and still be ok with social security? We live in Georgia

To start out, Georgia does not have legal separations. (Georgia does have a somewhat unique proceeding called separate maintenance). SSI tries to ensure that beneficiaries end up in similar circumstances, and has a complex system for reducing payments when arrangements such as what you propose occur. You badly need to see a lawyer.
