Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband made a issue in divorce court about my new boyfriend being a convicted felon and the judge ordered him not to be around my kids. His charges were robbery and not any child related charges. How do i get this reversed? Is it possible? What if we want to marry later?

You have two choices. You can lose your children and hang out around a convicted felon. Or you can make smarter choices for you and your children.

I am sure that is exactly what the judge would have thought and probably said. And, assuming you had a lawyer (and in any custody matter you obviously needed one), your lawyer would have told you the same thing.

Persisting in such a relationship has consequences and you need to think things out better than you have. You can go back into court if you wish, but you can probably expect to lose much of your contact with your children in the process.
