Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
my husband and i do not have the money to file for custody of his 7 yr old at this time and pro bono family law attorney's in our area are hard to come by. what do you suggest we do? do you know of any attorneys who would consider taking the case.

If custody really matters, find and pay a lawyer. Because of the huge demand, there are long wait lists for pro bono help (Georgia Legal Services and Atlanta Legal Aid are the two resources in Georgia for that). Probably several thousand dollars are involved. That may mean cleaning gutters and mowing neighbors yards for extra cash, taking a small personal loan, selling some belongings, charging it on a charge card, or calling family. But if it really matters, do those things.
