Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband was in prison for a year in Ga. I lost everything and had to move in with my daughter. He is out now and refuses to support me. Does that violate his probation?

He has no duty to support you unless you divorce him and are awarded alimony. If he is not supporting a minor child that would be a different question. So unless there is something unusual in his probation order (and you didn't tell us what was in it), the answer is no. Was there some reason you decided to not tell us what was in the order?
