Husband needs to know rights in this matter
My husband's x-wife has sold timber off property they jointly own together and told him after the fact, also lied about how much timber was sold. The divorce degree states that all assets if sold have to be divided equally. He didn't sign a quit claim or anything else giving her the right to the timber. Can't he file suit against her to get the money he is owed? Shouldn't he contact an attorney so that he is legally protected instead of confronting her.

In Florida you would need to file a Motion to Enforce the Agreement and what your ex has done would be a part of that action. Talk with an attorney in your area immediately to enforce that agreement.
