My husband walked out on me and our two kids nad has been gone for 7 months. He and I signed a joint lease for a home and he refuses to pay any rent, will a judge make him back pay me?

Assuming you file at some point for divorce, divorce mostly looks ahead and not behind. Your failure to act sooner was a costly mistake.

As soon as he left, you should have at least filed for child support. If funds were the problem, the state would do the case for you for a total of $25 or less.

At this point file for child support (and/or divorce).
