Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

ex husband's live-in

My four year old has come home from his dad's visitation repeatedly talking about a woman who spends the night there. Even says he can't get in his daddy's bed when he gets scared in his own room because Mandy is in daddy's bed. He has even said he and daddy called her name five times to get her out of the bed to cook, but she was too tired to get out of bed. My divorce decree states that neither parent shall have a non-related adult member of the opposite sex to stay overnight while the child is under the parent's supervision and control.

What are my rights and is there anything I can do about my ex-husband having a woman there while my baby stays over night for the weekend?

Depending on the wording of your decree, you may be able to get him for contempt and/or modification. Your paperwork needs to be reviewed by a local attorney. If I can be of assistance, feel free to call me.
