Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Inappropriate Behavior from Victim Advocate

A Victim's Advocate has provided counsel that is inappropriate. The Advocate has no formal state licensure to provide these services. The Advocate has attempted to promote their own agenda by making threats to the person being counseled. These threats are to the point of causing harm to the person if the advocate's counsel is not followed by the person. In the State of Georgia, what legal recourse is available and/or appropriate to deal with this situation?

Go up the ladder to this person's supervisor. If that fails, talk to your local district attorney or solicitor.
