Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I was incarcerated back in 2008, released in 2010. During my incarceration the father of my child asked the court for child support and a no contact order. I have a child support hearing coming up on the 4th due to non payment of the arrears accrued while I was incarcerated. The reason the no contact order was established was due to the nature of the charges of which I had yet to be adjudicated on. Is it appropriate for me to ask in this setting on the 4th to ask for the no contact part of his previous order be lifted?

I have served my time and am in good standing with my probation officer and would like to see my child again, even if it is limited to visitation.

No one here has read any of your paperwork. Presumably your lawyer has (surely, with something as vital as your own child, you hired a lawyer right away, didn't you?)

If you have a lawyer, call him. If you do not, you are going to have a very bad day in court in a custody/support dispute without one, so hire one right away.

This is NOT a do it yourself legal project and you need experienced counsel.
