Being Independant and 20 with a disability
Hi, I'm 20 yrs old and collect SSI. My parents claim that they have legal gaurdianship over me; but they often lie. How do I go about finding that information out?? I've been calling SSI, and various attornies with no call back. Please help.

If they indeed obtained legal guardianship, they would had to have done it in the county of your residence. Check with the Probate Court in any counties you have lived since you turned eighteen.
