Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Insurance Coverage
Do you know if there has ever been a case where an insurance company denied coverage or brought a suit against a married couple because the 2 people who got married did not live at the same address? Could this happen? Would an insurance company be likely to investigate if given a ''tip'' that you were only married for insurance coverage?

Re: Insurance Coverage
To my knowledge this has never happened. An insurance company would NOT be likely to investigate a "tip". A valid marriage is a valid marriage, whetever the underlying reason. See, e.g., Anna Nicole Smith's marriage to Mr. Marshall.
