Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have been involved with a woman off and on for a year now. we have just found out that she is about 8 weeks pregnant and we are not on the best of terms now. what are my rights concerning the unborn child? we are not married.

None. You have no rights to an unborn child. You can be held responsible for medical bills.

Once the child is born, you are required to pay child support until age 18 and possibly age 20.

You have no rights to the child at that time either unless you first legitimate the child. At that time you can seek visitation or custodial rights from a judge.
