Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I have a serious issue in a custody battle. I lost custody of my daughter to someone I gave temporary guardianship to because I was working out of state, so they took me to court and for some reason the judge ruled in their favor of full guardianship. The issue though, is that half a year later when they decided to blindside me and take full custody of her, their attorney failed to notify me of the court date, and I didn't even know they went to court for it until after the fact when I got a notice in the mail. What can I do about this? Should I tell the judge they failed to notify me and that's why I wasn't there? Is he legally obligated to review or overturn the case if they did it on purpose?

For something as serious as losing custody of a child, you need to speak with a family law attorney who can review the pleadings and obtain the necessary information to advise you. You may be able to set aside the order, depending on the amount of time that has lapsed. Speak to an attorney, as a simple posting cannot sufficiently answer your question.
