my ex took items that were given to me as gifts

myself and ex agreed on divorce settlement of property still lived in same house at time when house sold we both moved my ex took several items worth a good deal of money that were gifts to me from my sister i have a notarized letter stating these were my gifts. when I got to the house to move rest of my stuff these items were gone he took them to his place. divorce has been fianl for 6 months he refuses to give me these items do I have any recourse it was my understanding that gifts remain yours.

The terms of your divorce decree will control. If she is in violation of those terms, you can file a petition for contempt against him.
