Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My ex got out of jail for Child support. The new court order states he has to pay 100/week in child support and 50/week for back child support starts immediately also has to pay 350 in 60 days of release. He's been out of jail for a month and I still haven't received any Child support. My case is through child support enforcement. How long will they wait to do anything again? I'm owed 30,900.00 in child support and it seems that he's still not going to pay it. He is on probation also. And he had the Child support warrant for 8 months before they came to get him this past time. So I'm I suppose to wait another year with no Child support before anything happens again?

The person you need to speak with is the caseworker with Child Support Enforcement. It is not a quick process, but you shouldn't have to wait a year.
You can obtain a Fifa for amount and execute same through Sheriff and take money from his bank account, paycheck and any property he owns outright
