Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I have joint custody of my 2 kids 5 and 2 years old. We have 50/50 custody where I have primary. The final decree of the court order says the kids are not allowed around my ex wifes boyfriend unless supervised. The oreder was decided in mediation. What I would like to know is my exwife is breaking the order by having him around kids unsupervised. Her and her boyfriend now have a kid together and live in the same house. He has a bad drug history and I do not think my kids are safe around him. If I gain proof and file a contempt what is likely to happen? On top of that my son started school this year and his mother already already let him miss 2 days and was late a few. He has a perfect attendece record while in my custody, he has not been sick or had any legitimate reason to be out of school. Our order was signed bye the Judge only 6 months ago

No one here has read the language or can predict odds. Your lawyer who handled your case is the one person who knows all the facts - the language, background and judge. This is why it is vital to have a good lawyer in the original case as you have a go-to person thereafter. Call that lawyer.
